I'm a full time portrait photographer based in Kuala Lumpur serving clients on Wedding & Portrait photography. I've started photography throughout constant travel journey to many parts of the world of places like New York, Florida, Toronto, Ottawa, Tokyo,Melbourne to south east asia cities like Ho Chi Minh, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Yangoon, Mandalay, Bagan, Inle Lake, Vientiane , Bangkok...etc. These traveling experience and meeting new people throughout the journey has definitely has bless me with great scope of perspectives creating memory lanes in images for my clients. Eric + Brigitte { Actual Wedding day }

Summary: It’s a beautiful day as the sky is blue as ocean and white clouds dancing in group to celebrate this important day of my client . I came to know the bride whom is the sister of my sister’s best friend. She is such a soft spoken charming character that takes care of people and makes everyone so comfortable with her. In fact both of them (bride & groom) makes me felt so comfortable with my work while shooting them photos. Sometimes it’s challenging to photograph exhausted bride & groom from a long day house hopping. Not them, they were always being very supportive and patience. The wedding dinner ceremony at Sunway Hotel is definitely one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Wish them best of memories with their new chapter of their life!

Summary: Meet Stefan family ! I’m greatly delighted when I was called up to shoot their family portrait. Summary: I’ve met Andrew through one of my photography class. His politeness in meeting everyone around him is my first impression of him. He is truly a good friend to have and I was so delighted when was asked to take his family portrait with his lovely wife – Vicky and two of their darling boys.

Meet Billy and Jay !

Billy, he’s not your usual kid. he don’t go for toys I’ve prepared for him as I expected (teddy bears, big colourful ball, bubbles…etc), instead he went for bigger sized such as my studio metal door, mirror, standing fan, studio lights…etc) Only his dad and mom and I knew how hard it is to have him sit still posing for us , but he’s a darling, a sweet kid

Jay, laughs at anything ! What a bonus, isn’t it? The only time he doesn’t laugh is when he demands his napping time : )

We all had a great time at the studio. Just splendid time spend together !

Summary: It’s a special day, it’s Father’s day. I’ve came to know Tan for more than 15 years back when we’re both studied in Canada. He has been a great friend and we still keep in touch regularly when we’re back in Malaysia. I’m excited when his family booked me for their family portrait session at my studio. There’s cake, drawings from his children and great fun at the studio to celebrate this very special Father’s day for my dear friend.

Summary: From engagement night to their 1st newborn arrival,  I’m so grateful once again to be a part sharing this important moment of Joshua and Lynn’s life, a party welcoming their newly added family member. Say hello to Renae Rose Wong, clearly inherited both her parents’ beauties but still too early to figure out inherited who’s personality. One thing for sure, you won’t miss out her always-big-eyes-wide-open-curious all the time with her surroundings & people that can’t resist getting her attention, including me. She also showed great interest every time my camera flashes, if she ever became a famous photographer one day, we all know who’s her early influences came from, haha.

Beautiful evening with great food and great atmosphere by the pool, it’s such a heart warming party with all their friends and relatives came together celebrating such special and joyous moment for Joshua and Lynn’s life.  Last note, I got to get myself one of this photo booth as it has became such a popular trendy thing to do for occasions like this.

Wendy + Melvin {AWD @ KL}

Summary: Continue from last post, it’s one of the most looking forward weekend in my life as my buddy Melvin’s actual wedding day is finally here. I’ve being upgraded not only being his official wedding photographer but more importantly I was one of his groom’s brotherhood line up versus the bride’s sisterhood line up for the day. Playing the double agent as the photographer but also one of the groom’s brothers, I’m sure the sisters must have felt confused approving the limit of my access at the bride’s house. Personally it was a very emotional wedding for me seeing your buddy you’ve known more than 20 over years getting married and starting a new chapter of his life with his other half. I am honoured to have such wonderful privilege capturing these important moments in their life. All the blessing to you, Melvin & Wendy : )

Wendy + Melvin {Bride dinner @ Bukit Mertajam}

 

Summary: Have you ever imagine how it will be like if were to host your own wedding dinner at your own school hall? That’s where my client & friend (bride) chose for her wedding dinner venue. I personally think it’s sweet experience. The thing about small town’s wedding dinner  (actually it’s not small, over 60 tables) is always its people with the dinner environment. People there actually exchanging conversations with one another instead of busying staring at their phone & gadgets. Children ran around as they should be. What surprises me on that night or should I say in a Chinese wedding dinner is that there’s actually a dancing floor for everyone. I’ve seen the dance rehearsal from the bride’s parents (members of dancing academy, how cool is that!) and their efforts paid off ! They put up a splendid performance on the dance floor. It is all party after that : )

p.s. I am so looking forward to my over 2o years good buddy Melvin’s actual wedding day & dinner this coming weekend : )
